Alive

Those seeds of feelings you had sown
took root in ground not of this Earth
and spread through fields of my mind,
which stretch forever as I find
my world arising in rebirth
and springtime in our flowering:

propitious petals,
lucent hues

small dreams like pollen
airing clues

leaves wide like arms
enfolding light.

Then sweet revealings
surge to sight.

Emotions gathered in bouquets
reveal beauty, truth,
amaze,

as love, once nourished,
grows to thrive.

And only then
are we alive.
