Apertures

In lenses tensed
yet widening
subjects enter definition.

Focal fingers seek release
of shutters
(which obstruct the light)

so glimmers of eternity
expose all absent
permanence.

Flashbulbs stressing
transcience
blind inquiring eyes.

Will someone see
eventually
before old photos fade?
