Crystal Glassware

Arranged along the windowsill
you queue and wait so patiently
standing tall to take your fill
of sunlight when it drenches all
its liquid gold swished in your rims
as rays cascade, collect, refract
across dry walls like waterfalls
flowing towards the living room
replenishing what shadows drank.
