Dear Narcissus (Dear Narcissus)
Review the world outside your eyes
repeating only what you've known.
Ignore the echoes of your lake
which mirrors pride
your name
and face.
Another voice
(another voice)
beyond your own
(beyond your own)
calls out to you
(calls out to you)
past vanity
(past vanity)
where love abides
(where love abides)
until it dies
(until it dies)
repeatedly
(repeatedly).
