Diana of the Hunt

Curved longbow carved of dragonbones
and arrowheads from smoldered stones
with armor forged of dragonscale
and helmet antlered to impale
enshrouding huntress eyes and face
so none should mind your maiden grace
then gauge your gender less the threat
than any bowman they had met
until your firings wind their way
across the sky right through your prey
attesting your exacting aim
to slay supposals waged by name
and guarantee this quest's no game
and warn this world to end the shame
of presuming to dismiss
an archer found to be a Miss.
