Dominion Not Diminutive

Alighting on her floral throne
commanding eyes attend her fast
before she flits away again

the Monarch dominates our view
silent while her tapestry
disburses verse majestically

across her variegated realm
governed by a single law:
all who dwell here live in awe

of nature's stately pageantry
and ever care to celebrate
but not decree nor decimate.

Test her, and she does defect,
abdicates as none expect
the might of butterfly effect.
