Far

Impossible,
or so they said,
to go as far
as none have not.

Yet here I stand:
the mountaintop
where none ascend,
and I will rest

to prize the view
so few will hold.
And then I'll start
to climb again.

Next stop: the sky,
and then the stars.
Don't shake your head.
They're not so far.
