From Wrong to Right

While waiting for
the elevator
in the hallway
of the home
a distraught visage
creased with stress
searching faces
nervously
slackens slowly
hapless grimace
into grin
if happier
then somewhat glad
all because
I smiled first
with all my heart
then wished good night.
And in that moment
however slight
something turned
from wrong to right.
