Future Poem

Inside a showroom years from now,
imagine there's this concept car
revealed under rainbow lasers
and futuristic audio
as crowds assemble, gape and face
the stunning angles of that ride,
the sleekness of its flowing lines,
its hidden tires, then those doors
which spread like wings to welcome you
so anyone might fit inside
in any seat - no steering wheel
because this transport drives by thought,
responds to speech, how someone feels,
and runs for days on one good charge,
delivering much mileage
with art beyond technology.

This vehicle is poetry.
