Her Exuberant Art

Exuberance incites her brush
to forego gentler subtleties
and veer into that vibrant lush
past prudent hues subdued to hush
beyond the plains toward all profuse
where nuance lets her long hair loose
to frolic round wildflowered hills
and tumble down plush grassy slopes
with rampant laughter born of song
suppressed inside her far too long
as mountains howl along in kind
and winding rainbows in her mind
accompany her jazzy jaunts
embellishing her fancy flaunts
to saturate the drained and gray
enliven scenes along her way
exceeding mere hyperbole
with careless frantic artistry
resisting critics' timid views
to follow her impulsive muse
through ebullient flights of paint
which captivate with unrestraint.
