I mostly forego formal prayers
when I need to meet with God.

I do prefer to improvise,
to speak what's really in my heart.

I find these honest talks can lead
to clarity - solutions, too,

because a problem, once defined,
invites an answer to the mind.

And God can see my every thought
and help me find the truths I've sought.
