Inked

Silhouettes
of innocence
inked by Evening,
prentice to
her maestro, Night,
whose charcoal strokes
evoke insight,
exhibiting experience,
indelible deliverance:
artlessness
to Dawn's distress
(her breaking day)
effacing youth's
untruthfulness.
