Lyrical

Her fingers perch
on ringing strings:
the harpist stops

yet music sings

behind bright eyes
which drift to dreams
beyond the trees

where sunlight streams

and once again
she dances there
with airy limbs

as if on air

as music fills
her bursting heart
aglow with wonder

beauty, art

no longer bound
by sorrows here
or old regrets

when shadows clear

because she sees
her world anew
released and free

now love proves true.
