Phoenix: Invincible

You strike my weakness

watch me drop

begin believing
I was stopped.

You crow.
You laugh.
You feel relief.

Applaud yourselves
but please
be brief

for every time
new failure burns
I learn the lessons.

Strength returns.

Departing dust
I'll light the skies
alive with hope
that never dies.
