Poetic Vista

Pastel snow blown lavender
cerulean shadows sprawled as far
horizon mist meets evergreens

- no landscape made for magazines,
or social posts, or evening news,
or greeting cards, or travel cruise,

its byroad wending left from right,
while two trees unpack, reunite,
and rave about the latest storm,

and wonder where it might be warm:
a vista fit for paint or verse,
where soul and scenic may converse.
