Refresh Meant
Crackled gray matter:
fired ceramic, fissured
like dropped porcelain.
Your Sahara mind
- let these words be water: sip,
cool, quench, rest, sigh, breathe.
Impressions in sand
soothed over by welcome breeze:
when rough becomes suave.
Aimless or unbound?
Mapless, yet you dream yourself
past desert, heat, time.
Surreal oasis:
wanderer who wished this, now
what will you believe?
Life pours from pages
reviving insights like spring
restores lost gardens.
Softer thoughts sluice;
no more cacti, dunes, sandstorms:
fertile fields. Now grow.
