Between the cavern and the light,
  we choose to leave the dreams
    of night

    and shallow comforts shadows lend
      so that we can begin
        to end

        the life of darkness and deceit
          then find the threshold where
            minds meet

            the world outside of flaming lies
              and soon review it through
                new eyes.
