Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

Yesterday: crows streaked
through clouds like ink spilled over
pink pastel paper.

Today: gray skies shed
attention fast: how nothing
can advance an hour.

Tomorrow: will blue
return as many yearn? Will
spring begin to bloom?
